Our beach ride experiences combine countryside trails, rural landscapes and coastal scenery, allowing guests to discover a quieter and more genuine side of the island away from crowded tourist areas. Unlike standard tourist activities where visitors simply arrive, ride and leave, our goal is to create a complete experience where guests can connect with both the horses and the environment around them.

Detailed Description
The journey begins from our farm and gradually leads riders through olive groves, cypress trees, local farmland and peaceful natural landscapes before reaching the beach.
Unlike standard tourist activities where visitors simply arrive, ride and leave, our goal is to create a complete experience where guests can connect with both the horses and the environment around them. For us, this is more than just riding.
The experience begins well before the ride itself, focusing on guest participation in horse preparation before heading out on the trail. This ritual may include meeting your horse, basic grooming, introduction to the equipment, and a short riding introduction with simple guidance to help everyone feel comfortable.
Depending on the schedule and time of day, guests may occasionally have the possibility of joining us to bring the horses in from the fields before preparing for the ride. Many visitors tell us that this becomes one of the most memorable moments because it creates a deep, personal connection. To ensure a complete encounter with the farm’s lifestyle, guests are also welcome to spend optional time with the horses after returning from the ride if they wish.
Please note: The Beach Ride experience presented on this page refers to our standard guided ride at a walking pace, suitable for beginners and mixed-experience groups.

- Experienced riders interested in trot and canter opportunities should contact us before booking. Depending on riding experience, horse suitability and group composition an alternative riding experience and pricing structure may apply.
Essential Requirements
- Mandatory Attire: You must wear long pants and closed-toe athletic shoes.
- Strictly Forbidden: For safety reasons, sandals, flip-flops, pareos, scarves, or any loose clothing that does not fit the body are not allowed.
- Pace Policy: To ensure safety, if a group includes even one beginner, the pace is strictly limited to a walk (walk-only). Trot and canter are not provided in mixed-level groups.

- Meeting Point: Kefalonia Horse Riding Stable (Please arrive 30 minutes early).
- Duration: ~ 2 Hours total experience (excluding preparation).
- Ages: 6+ years for the beach ride / Weight limit: 95 kg.
- Languages: Greek and English
- Weather: Cancellations occur only in case of severe/unsafe weather conditions.
Please note: Riding pace and the overall structure of the experience are adapted according to rider experience, confidence, group composition and safety conditions in order to create a safe and enjoyable experience for both riders and horses. More personalised riding experiences for confident and experienced riders may also be available upon request.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
- A 30% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
- Guests may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the scheduled experience.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the experience are non-refundable.
Please note: The experience begins with horse preparation and guest participation in the grooming and saddling process. Once horse preparation has started, the experience is considered active and no refunds can be issued.
